The increase in Dearness Allowance is according to the fixed formula, which is based on the suggestions of the seventh Central Pay Commission. This will benefit 48 lakh central employees and 63 lakh pensioners. Prakash Javadekar said that the government has given gifts to employees before Diwali. This will benefit about 1.10 crore employees and X employees.
In this way, now it has increased to 17 percent from 5 percent increase. It will be deemed applicable from July 2019. This will greatly benefit the working class and The government will bear the burden of 16 thousand crores.
The increase has been made in accordance with the recommendations of the Seventh Pay Commission, which is the largest increase since the implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission.
Calculate how much your dearness allowance increased
Suppose your basic money is Rs 39100.
First Dearness allowance (DA) – 39100 × 12% = Rs 4692.
Now 12% to 17% increase i.e. 5% increase – Rs 39100 × 17% = 6647.
Thus, the increase in the month of October = 6647 – 4692 = 1955 increased by Rs.
Total salary for the month of October – Basic = 39100
DA (17%) -6647
HRA (8%) = 3128 Total gross salary = 39100 + 6647 + 3128 = 48875 rupees will be received and DA will be made for July, August and September 2019.
Which will be 1955 × 3 = 5865 rupees for three months.
